This week we take a bit of time to catch up with everyone, and by a ‘bit’ I mean nearly 30 min. We hear about some of Drew’s life-changing events in Mozambique, and Jeff’s adventures in Montreal. The tl;dr is that while Drew was eating Rice and beans and cabbage daily, Jeff was enjoying gourmet delights that most have only dreamed of. Then with that out of the way, we delve into the delights of E3. What do we hope to hear? What could Microsoft possibly do to save their line-up? Will we hear a release date for Ni No Kuni II? We’re cautiously optimistic, but we’re not holding our breath for anything too spectacular, call us old and jaded.. it’s Episode 129 of the LittleBigKast!
This show brings a fun discussion about the Academy awards’ debacle. We, of course, give our first thoughts on Horizon Zero Dawn. SPoiLEr! It’s every thing we wanted it to be. Sure, we have our minor complaints but they’re not show-stoppers. We love the story and the art and the mechanics. Jeff is most excited that he has a few weeks to play HZD before his beloved Mass Effect:Andromeda comes out. It’s another week where we make sure the games balance out the life. Join us!
We get real excited about the latest information about Horizon Zero Dawn and Mass Effect – Andromeda. Jeff shares his excitement about the new series of videos coming out highlighting the different aspects of the game. We cover the news, which is a LOT of HZD content. 😉 We kick off the show talking about whiny people and wondering to ourselves, why we can’t all just get along?! We thought for sure this would be a shorter show without Robin, but we just couldn’t contain all the news. So we let the show keep going and going… Enjoy this delightful treat!
Catch up with the LBK crew as we discuss our gaming triumphs and tragedies. We watch Jeff pick up his hardest trophy EVER in TitanFall2. Between leaking roofs and 6 feet of snow, we do a little complaining about our life-heavy balance. We talk about all the playstation news of the last week and discuss the impact of No Man’s Sky’s launch on how current titles are minimizing their marketing rhetoric lately. It’s all here in Episode 117. Welcome!
Episode 116 brings a smorgasbord of tasty treats. The Team assembles to catch us up on their Holiday adventures, which admittedly are pretty lame. Then we get in good as we discuss the newest in NEWS. We let Jeff choose our news topics, so don’t be surprised when a lot of what we discuss is Mass Effect: Andromeda. We talk about the release date, the expectations for DLC and more! We also cover the 30 most anticipated PS4 Exclusives coming this year. It’s another delightful episode of the LBK. Welcome!
It’s a mini-episode! Jeff & Drew take a few short minutes to Play Stories, and discuss the news of the week, ethics and Jeff’s new controller Mod. Don’t forget to play Stories this week. We’ll be talking about our thoughts and your thoughts on next week’s episode!
We have reconvened! Hooray! Our studio was finally finished. (Well, it’s not really ours, but Studio 76 lets us play in it, cause the stuff we make is so great!) We took a brief hiatus to balance the Game/Life chakra of our collective Kast. But we’ve now returned! We spent this week talking about the major Playstation news over the past month. We weigh in on our favorite Overwatch characters and of course the PS4 Pro. Welcome to this meaty episode.. .now with mood lighting!
Welcome everybody, to the 106th episode of the LittleBigKast. On this episode, you’ll get to hear Jeff talk about how winner’s win, and about his experience teaching a group of kids what he enjoyed growing up. Drew, Robin, and Rachel all go over some of their experiences so far involving No Man’s Sky, and other happenings in our busy lives. Also you’ll get to hear what Robin’s thoughts on Suicide Squad, and the reason why Jeff had to miss out on it. What were our thoughts on No Man’s Sky? How have we all been finding the game/life balance? I guess you’ll just have to listen to this episode and find out.
I swear we talk about more than Pokemon on this episode. Listen and laugh at us compare our gaming and life stories with Drew taking the gold this week for his impromptu trip to California (thanks Vidpresso!). Robin fights to game through the gorgeous world of Abzu with a two-week migraine while Rachel tries her impression of Jeff being excited for the Destiny news we discuss. Our lovely mascot, Glenn, jumps in with his PG-rated thoughts on Overwatch and his world of culinary jetsetting!
Don’t forget to jump in our live chat every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. PST! With our fancy new streaming, we can push your comment live in our video feed and chat with y’all about it :).
Welcome everybody. To the 104th episode of the LittleBigKast. On this episode, one of our LittleBigFans & Patreon supporters, Ben steps in for Robin, for she was unable to join us! What happened on this episode? Drew starts training his own Pokemon trainer, Jeff starts jamming on some Overwatch and he gets pretty real on the topic of skiing, Rachel just keeps on adulting and running into good and bad luck, and as for our guest Ben… well I’m just going to say one thing “PROTEIN”. This episode also includes our thoughts on the upcoming NES hard drive. Because that’s really all it is. Is a hard drive, at least in Rachel’s opinion, and she’s the one currently typing this. HERE WE GO EPISODE 104. Thanks for listening everyone.
You know what we’re going to talk about here. It’s what everyone is talking about: Pokemon Go! Our experimental setup in Drew’s casa with Vidpresso and his new recording toys makes it easier for Rachel to show us exactly how to trade in Pokemon for candy…of the same name…and the same pokemonish consistency…oh lawd, are we “transferring” our Pokemon to a meat grinder!?
Our bite-sized episode covers all the news we think you should care about, our fun lives including Drew’s stint in (filming) the NBA and Jeff’s new job *confetti and marching bands*
What’s up everyone! Welcome to The LittleBigKast episode 101: Splitting Hairs in the Sandbox. Today’s was slightly different as it was hosted by the admittedly lesser half of the kast. Despite the ship being manned only by men we were able to keep the ship afloat and get into a lot of great Playstation news and info for your week. Check below for the news and new releases info and as always feel free to hit us up on Facebook and Twitter.

Welcome to this experimental episode of the LittleBigKast! Since our studio is currently undergoing some construction, we are left to share our gaming lives and non-game lives with you from our homes! This week it seems like Robin and Jeff both spend some time playing Uncharted 4, and Robin gives up her “selfless” parenting ways. Jeff also recites some… descriptive poetry. Drew has been patiently waiting his turn to play Uncharted and shares some of his Rocket League stories. As for Rachel, well she’s on Uncharted 2 and is crying in a corner hoping she’ll get more time for gaming soon. With that being said! Welcome everybody, to the 98th episode of the LittleBigKast.
On this Episode of LBK, Robin shares her thoughts on “Martha,” Drew waxes philosophical with the Longtail*, and Jeff gets even redder….It’s Episode 97 of the LittleBigKast. No one wanted to work today, so we decided to stick it to the ‘man’ and skip out on our work to gather around the mics to talk gaming news. After our news segment Our Twitch friend @Sibernathy sparks some interesting discussion regarding the game development world and how they might survive the future.
On todays show- Rachel goes on a walkabout, Drew finishes the Peach’s Thesis-Game, Robin goes “Hulk-Style” for developers’ working conditions and Jeff hangs with Skid McMarx. It’s Episode 95 of the LBK, Welcome! We dive in quick with the life updates and then in no time we’re talking about the Playstation news. Alex St. John made some waves this week with his take on developers’ working conditions, so naturally we chime in. We ponder on the GameStop announcement to create a publishing division called GameTrust. What does it mean? You’ll have to see in this wondrous and divine episode of the LittleBigKast!
“How do you like the taste of that bull sperm?” “Haha…. what?” “Your Redbull Jeff… It has Taurine… Which is bull sperm.” Ah, yes, the whole crew is back this week. Plus, we even added a special guest, Mr. Ben (Spar1an) H.. So yes, that’s right- there’s FIVE of us in this week’s episode. Our topic this week includes “jaw-dropping” moments in gaming. Find out what gaming moment brought Ben and Jeff to tears. Rachel also talks about how her motivation in completing Heavy Rain just isn’t there. Find out some of Robin’s limits on the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 release, and Drew… Well… If you didn’t all ready know, he has no soul. All of this and more on this episode of the LittleBigKast. Welcome everybody.
Welcome every body! Welcome to the 91st episode of the LittleBigKast! I bet you’re asking “What kind of deals are being made in Cokeville?” Well, the only way to find out is to listen to this week’s episode. Drew does so much on this episode, but you’ll have to hear about his heartwarming, adult experience yourself. Speaking of “adult” Rachel files her taxes! Yay! She also cheats while playing Heavy Rain (don’t judge her). Jeff has been busy, but finds some time for Destiny…. JUST KIDING. Jeff played the Division this week, and he wonders WHERE IS THE WOLF AMONG US?! And Robin? Well… Where is Robin? This episode also includes some super rad facts about No Man’s Sky. Find out all of this and more on this episode of the LittleBigKast.
“FOR DEMOCRACY!” Join the crew as we discuss our Indie Game of the Week, HELLDIVERS! Hear some of the reasons we love the game, and what parts of the game we dislike. Also you get to hear Rachel’s rant about how someone is getting all of the strategems without her. Drew has been playing tons of Amplitude with his beans. Robin has been busy with life, and moving things in. And if you had to guess, what do you think Jeff has been playing? All of this and everything else on this episode of the LittleBigKast, welcome everybody.
WELCOME EVERYBODY. It’s a late Thursday night in Rachel’s world, and she’s the one writing the post this week. This episode sure missed Robin. Although she is busy being an adult, the Sony world keeps on turning. Jeff, Drew, Glenn, and Rachel come at you with what’s been happening this week. The most memorable thing is that Glenn, Drew, and Jeff all sing the Cheers theme song, so if you listen, make sure you listen to that. Rachel has had a hell of a week, Jeff talks about Destiny even though he “quit,” and Drew has bought some expansions for The Witcher, and Rachel asks how Glenn enjoys his version of “time travel.” All of this and more, on this episode of the LittleBigKast, welcome everybody.
Rachel may be the most mature member of the crew this week as Drew and Robin joke about body parts and break down in convulsive laughter, respectively. If anyone sees Rachel’s 3DS on an airplane, please return it as we all know Isabelle is not a good interim mayor. Drew and Robin hit a little bit of a gaming lull but that may change as The Witness goes live this week; we know how much Drew loves a puzzler.
Let’s play a game of counting how many Freudian slips are inserted into this episode of the LittleBigKast.
